Hi, I’m Rachel Turner
I offer a warm, compassionate, and humanistic approach to counselling, grounded in both professional training and real-life experience. I work with people facing a wide range of emotional, psychological, and life challenges, and I aim to provide a safe, supportive space where you can feel heard, understood, and valued.
You might be navigating a life transition, relationship difficulties, loss, anxiety, or burnout. Perhaps you’re struggling with confidence, stress at work or school, or coping with trauma, neurodiversity, or addictive behaviours. Whatever brings you here, we can explore it together at your pace, with care and respect.
Before studying counselling, I spent many years working in healthcare across both NHS and private settings, including radiology and patient care. This experience shaped my understanding of the deep connection between physical health, emotional wellbeing, and the importance of feeling supported as a whole person.
I am a qualified hypnotherapist and studied BA (Hons) degree in Integrated Counselling. My work draws on Humanistic and Existential approaches, helping you explore your inner world, process past experiences, and develop greater self-awareness, resilience, and choice in how you move forward.
Alongside my professional training, my work is also shaped by life experience, including raising my own family. I understand how demanding life can be, and how much courage it takes to reach out for support.
If you’re considering counselling, you don’t have to face things alone. I would be honoured to walk alongside you on your journey.
